SJAC 2025 Open Call for Art: “Visions of Change”

The South Jersey Artist Collective invites artists to submit their work for our upcoming exhibition titled "Visions of Change," focusing on the themes of protest, artistic expression, and a positive vision for our future. This exhibition aims to showcase the powerful role that art plays in social movements and its ability to inspire hope, unity, and positive change.

Theme: Artists are encouraged to explore the intersection of protest and art, highlighting the stories, messages, and visions that resonate with our collective desire for a better future. We welcome various media, including but not limited to painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, film, fiber, and digital art.

Eligibility: This call is open to all artists, both emerging and established, residing in South Jersey and surrounding areas. $10 submission fee, SJAC members and students are free. (Anyone with an inability to pay the submission fee can reach out to sjerseyartistcollective@gmail.com.)

Submission Guidelines:
- Submit up to three pieces of artwork along with a brief artist statement (200 words maximum) explaining your inspiration and connection to the theme.
- Include high-quality images of your artwork (max 300 DPI) and dimensions/weight for each piece. If your work is time based, please submit links to the work or digital audio/video files. Contact sjerseyartistcollective@gmail.com with any questions.
- Provide your name, contact information, and website/social media links (if applicable).

Important Dates:
- Submission Deadline: November 1st, 2025, midnight
- Exhibition Dates: December 1, 2025- March 31, 2026
- Reception: TBD
